Sequencers enable increased reproducibility, faster setup, and greater flexibility. Feature thermocore plates; removable buffer tank and tank drain assemblies; spring-loaded clamping system; and a slanted, adjustable-height gel assembly. Two model choices suit a wide range of laboratory requirements.
Base Runner 100 is an economical, single-gel unit for use with low volumes. Base Runner 200 features a dual-gel design for maximum sample capacity. Rotating base allows access to both gels without moving the unit. Interlocking mechanism holds the unit in place during loading electrophoresis.
Thermocore plates eliminate gel artifacts and minimize pre-run time. The glass-aluminum-glass laminate design distributes heat rapidly and efficiently, producing even sample migration for error-free data interpretation.
The removable buffer tanks and tank drain assemblies allow safe, convenient disposal of radioactive and non-radioactive buffer. The interlocking safety covers on both the upper and lower tanks protect against electrical hazards.
Spring-loaded clamping system features thumb tabs for quick and easy tank setup. Silicone gaskets prevent leaks without the need for vacuum grease.
